The thing you need to know about Sypha (don't worry, she'll tell you) is that she's a Speaker - a group of nomadic tribes who prioritize the collection, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge so as to improve mankind’s quality of life. Speakers often act as a kind of early Relief International organization, providing medical aid, resources, and magical assistance to other communities in crisis. Instead of abiding by the code set by God or His Church, they hold history and information most sacred, and tend towards pacifism.
She recently played her part in a prophecy to save the world from Dracula, but his army persists even beyond his defeat. Cadens' magic snatched her away from an ongoing effort to set humanity back on its feet and protect it from vampiric bullshit.
