But Viktor's ideals and desire to use his science for humanitarian reasons would remind Fandaniel of himself at a young age, too. I don't have any clear ideas about what we could do with that but there's potential for something there. He genuinely tried to use science to be a healer and expand the limits of consciousness once. Everyone kept disappointing him which was really the start of his five thousand year despair spiral and now he thinks nobody can be saved and everyone pretty much has to die actually.
