Hello and welcome to the first OOC Introduction and CR meme for Abraxas! First off, we'd like to give everyone a great big welcome to the game! We are so excited about the amount of enthusiasm that's already been generated. Although the first IC post won't go up until Saturday, we're posting our OOC mingle and CR meme early!

ABOUT YOU: Not much to say. I'm a writer/history buff. My fandoms range from Daganronpa and Persona 5 to A Song of Ice and Fire (everything about it), period dramas like The Tudors/The White Queen/The White Princess/The Spanish Princess, I love horror stuff like the Haunting of Hill House and Sadako vs. Kayako. I post sometimes about politics if I see something getting my goat. Other than fandom and meme stuff, I give updates about my health since I suffer from chronic pain and that sometimes slows my tag speed.

WELCOMED OR IMPRISONED?: Welcomed

CHARACTER INFORMATION: He's the bastard of Winterfell, Lord Snow, the White Wolf, former Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and the last King in the North. Jon is broody, grumpy and honorable. He's a good man and is driven by a need to do what is right, but often lands into trouble because of his belief that people are better than they are. He can be snarky and sassy, if you catch him on the right day. He's not as miserable as he usually is, given that he's coming from the end of Season 7 and things are looking up for him. He still doesn't know who his parents are (or whatever it was the showrunners did to him in Season 8) and he's better off being ignorant for now. He's a skilled swordsman, general and a good king. He wants to help people and that is what is going to drive him in this world.
CR YOU WANT: ALL! I'm happy with both negative and positive CR. Friends, foes, sparring partners, awkward flirtations, whatever you have. Since everyone is new, this is a good time to start building a circle for him and a group of people he can rely on or have beef with. I love to plot, so come at me.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Can't think of anything off the top of my head.
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Political intrigues are not his strong suit, so I love them. Deciding what to do and snooping for information is always good. But this is just stuff to start with. I'm open to anything really.

IC INFORMATION

CHARACTER NAME: Estinien Wyrmblood
CANON: Final Fantasy XIV

WELCOMED OR IMPRISONED?: Imprisoned and furious about it.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Estinien Wyrmblood is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV. He was once the Azure Dragoon, the mightiest hero of Ishgard, but has since retired to the life of an errant knight. Once taken as the vessel of the great wyrm Nidhogg, he has inherited the remains of his old enemy's essence, allowing him to the power of dragons.

That's his cool description. The true description is that he's a weird elf hobo that never learned how to do anything besides fight and has had most of his life consumed by war and his own obsessive revenge quest against the dragon that killed his family. Only, now the war is over, and actually, dragons are great, he has decided. He's basically an honorary dragon himself at this point. He's reclusive and doesn't know how to socialize, but he's trying to do better and be a better person in general. He's still rude, though. He can also jump very high.

CR YOU WANT: Game is new so basically anything. I especially want people that he can protect and be concerned with, though, since squeezing affection out of him takes some time, but he is very loyal. Please be his ward, whether he likes it or not. Alternatively, he's rude, and can easily get into antagonistic CR with people. He's also already sworn revenge against Thorne so that is probably the direction his life is going at the moment.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: Can't really think of anything at the moment.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
- Plotting revenge against/escape from Thorne. He is so mad about this.
- Investigating just what the mages think the imprisoned people are guilty of.
- Estinien finding people to watch out for in his grumpy elf way.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: eddie is a 23-year-old former heroin addict from new york in 1987 who was dragged into another world by an old crusty fantasy!cowboy and has since joined said cowboy on his quest to find the titular dark tower. he's a notorious wisecracker who prefers to make jokes than take anything remotely seriously and, to quote the book, "tends to talk like dis and dat" when he gets excited. he will be your best friend and he loves to whittle. ALSO, if you wanna interact please give a quick look over my opt out page! there's a few content warnings there and also some information about fourthwalling which is very pertinent for anyone playing from a canon that was released in or before 1987 (...unlikely but, you know, just in case!)
CR YOU WANT: friends, romans, countrymen... honestly eddie's a completely open book and will talk to absolutely anyone. you'd either find him incredibly annoying or effortlessly charming, there are no in betweens. also would love to get CR with characters who have strained/not entirely positive relationships with siblings orrr people who are addicts!
CR YOU DON'T WANT: shippy stuff – his wife might not be here but eddie is Very Married
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: eddie's kind of an old hat when it comes to dimension hopping, and he has absolutely no idea what's going on but he's absorbed enough from roland to have his theories, which he will be more than happy to share even if he's entirely wrong! he's already starting to form a bias against thorne for kidnapping him for no reason. anyone else on that team? yes?? let's squad up. also he would love to Very Angrily Yell At anyone who's unquestioningly having a good time upstairs getting to learn magic.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: zelda's a very dainty-seeming, prim and proper librarian. she's kind and incredibly patient, with knowledge behind her that shows how much ridiculously she's read. she's a book nerd, knowledge is power in many different ways and is starting to get better at sharing that knowledge. she's familiar with magic, she's used to the knowledge of different worlds and the ability to travel to them (and has done that) and is kind of going to be taking being here in a weird kind of stride. she's also 100% going to unofficially work in that library. habits die hard. she is also way more than she seems but is very happy to let everyone underestimate and overlook her.
CR YOU WANT: friends, people to research with, people to be helpful to (need information? let her find you it. struggling with magic? she might offer some advice!), people to talk magic with, people to discuss different worlds with (esp if they're not from earth). honestly just let me open arms to everything

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: mentoring!!! getting accidentally dragged on a quest? being introduced to normal human experiences that she's never done before.
