Kainé didn't know Grandma in her youth, but she would probably arrive at a similar conclusion. After all, Grandma scared the shit out of those bullies when she first met Kainé and left one of them with a bloody lump between the eyes from the rock she threw.

But that was far from Kainé's mind now.

"What the hell's happening to the sky? The sun's dissappearing and its getting black!"

Kainé looked as though she might try to summon her weapons again as she tried to keep her expression neutral.

"Fuck! This place is gonna be overrun by goddamn Shades!" She snapped trying to decide whether to stay and fight or run.
