Kainé glances up from her wrapping at the threat and smirks. She's always up for a fight, though right now might not be the best time since her strength and magic seem to be fucked up.
"Shades are goddamn monsters that deserve nothing more than a painful, agonizing death." She replies matter-of-factly. And if you wanna fight, fucking bring it."
She may seem small, her height only 5'5" in the sandals (she usually wears heels to give herself a 5'7" appearence.), though her figure could be said to be 'put together in all the right places.' But Kainé has an inhuman strength and resilience. Just... not right now. Damn this Summoning for taking it out of her. In other words, she wasn't scared. She's fought Shades probably ten times the size of this woman, she just doesn't want to get her ass kicked right now thank you.
"Yeah, me either. 's why I'm wrapping my goddamn arm. Sunlight burns it, but like hell am I letting the asshole get any more of me! So the window stays open." she declares but pauses a moment, eyeing the woman curiously. "I won't open it any more than that though."
In fact, she crosses the room and closes it a little, giving her roommate a bit of breathing room. Despite her attitude, she's not heartless.
"You don't know what a Shade is, but you sound an awful lot like a Shade-possessed." though the woman's skin doesn't look black, in fact, it's the exact opposite, a pale white like the majority of Kainé's body. "So why's the sun hurt you?"
