Character Name: Cole Cassidy Arcana: The Hanged Man Faction: The Free Cities
Nightmare theme: Betrayal with a side order of helplessness. Putting too much trust into someone to realize you don't really know them like you thought.
Nightmare description: I'm having a few scenarios here because canon is vague on the details so I may shift between scenes quickly.
— Scenario 1: Sounds of gunfire and screams and quick glimpses of some kind of battle robots tearing through the place. The scene is vague, the people even more so, but after several are cut down one can sense Cassidy's overwhelming feeling of loss. He'll be a child here, but so focused on the scene before him that he doesn't really notice anyone else.
— Scenario 2: Cassidy is a little younger than he is today, maybe around 30. He and another man (Gabriel) walk out of a fancy building while chatting only for the building to explode right behind them. As they pick themselves up and dust off the debris, panic floods in as both rush back inside the rubble to drag people out. Most are bleeding, groaning, and covered in dust and debris. Some aren't moving at all.
— Scenario 3: He's standing in an office with three others at his side facing a smug, well-dressed man who taunts them before Gabriel pulls out his gun and shoots him out the window. Cassidy is left shocked, confused, and angry. Gabriel justifies himself and Cassidy fears how far Gabriel might go because he hardly seems the same man anymore.
Entity: Gabriel Reyes, specifically looking like this. He'll be slipping farther and farther away from protocol and more towards violent decisions made on a whim.
Accepting faction intervention: He's accept the offer.
Is there anything you don't want to interact with? Scenes of non-con or suicide.
General Plans: I think I'd like to have him experience others' nightmares a bit more than his own so let me know if you'd be interested in this cowboy dropping in!
