Character Name: Thancred Waters Arcana: Strength Faction: Free Cities
Nightmare theme: Despair taking over everything and consuming it, leaving nothing in its wake.
Nightmare description: The setting itself can be just about anywhere — somewhere from Thancred's home, from the other world he's visited (the First), or even somewhere in Abraxas (or your character's world, or some amalgamation!). But the idea is that a malevolent dark force, despair itself, would sweep in and essentially take all of the color and life out of the area, leaving nothing but hollowness behind. Any sense of happiness or positive feelings would just be sucked out of the air. This could be more literal too, with people feeling as if they can't breathe, etc.
Entity: The Entity will be Meteion, a villainous force from Thancred's home who he and the rest of his Scion friends were trying to stop before he ended up here. While he knows that all turns out well with that thanks to Y'shtola, he hasn't lived through that himself, and so her threat and what it represents is still haunting the back of his mind. This can get pretty creepy. She can also appear is a more innocuous black bird.
Accepting faction intervention: While Thancred would like to help if he could, the fact is that magick is not something he's really capable of using. In truth, his ability has recovered somewhat from spending time in the Horizon and he's achieved one power gain, but he doesn't know that! So he'll feel pretty useless and unable to help, but will try to offer support to others who are doing work, even if that means staying up into the late hours of the night with people suffering from insomnia.
Is there anything you don't want to interact with? Nope, I'm down for whatever!
General Plans: I'm happy to have people experience his dreams or to throw him at others! He'll be pretty annoyed by the entire situation and might try to avoid sleeping where he can... but of course, can only pull that off for so long. He'll also dip into the Horizon where he can. He'll be trying to keep others' heads on straight if they're having a hard time, and will also be doing what he can to support those who are doing the spell stuff in Thorne, since he can't help much there.
