If she thinks her attitude is at all meant to be off-putting, it has the opposite effect on Lucifer. Enough that he pulls the tapped book out of the stack and tosses it, loudly (rudely), in front of her. He's only personally looked at a page or two in order to judge its contents, but he hasn't read it, yet.
