Steve follows the man's direction down the exact road he'd been walking down not a few minutes prior. He hadn't even thought about whether or not there would be different roads, or if some would have a higher likelihood of monsters. Which he guesses he probably should have.

Oh, he thinks. And then feels a bit embarrassed, if only because he can hear Robin and Dustin making some smart comment about it. His brow creases, trying to think about what he's going to do about this, considering he hadn't really seen another road either.

That's when the man speaks up again, hears him say if you're set on this, and then Steve's confusion is back on him. "You don't need to come." He says, shifting his grip on the plow in his hand. "I mean- I know what I'm getting into, and you just got here."
