Elidibus has seen the value this society places on the community. A pale imitation to their utopia to be sure. But it was something familiar in a world he's near to deciding is not one of the shattered fragments of their star. There could be worse countries to be trapped in and powerless. Though that also remained to be seen.

Young he looks, restored to the physical countenance he'd abandoned. But Elidibus is old now, even for their kind. There with some crisp apples, goat cheese and meat on a skewer, many of which were samples of the market stalls or small gifts the people of Solvunn seem happy to bestow on the Summoned these days. Neatly arranged and indulged in for a score of reasons from sampling the local food, to recovery efforts, to playing the role of grateful receiver of small gifts. Sitting on a bench, this small bounty rests on a neat piece of packaging paper stretched over his lap.

Disarm, confuse and perhaps even startled. A familiar-unfamiliar voice speaks to him with gentle affection. Elidibus had been looking in another direction when Hythlodaeus approached. That was no longer the case. While his composure allows him to shift his attention to the face of his fellow Amaurotine, there is a brief instant where some panic- dare it be called distress- is clearly present.

Stripped of proper senses, trying to remember where he might have heard this particular voice in a choir of souls, almost countless and earnest that he shepherded, there is a sense of dread that some precious memory had been left adrift. It is a terrible, if understandable fear.

Elidibus closes his eyes and composes himself. What's important is that one of his kind is here. Whether he remembers, as painful as that notion is, isn't as important. Once more he regards Hythlodaeus and speaks with polite courtesy.

"I fear you have me at a disadvantage. I'm newly come to this star and have yet to regain my strength." This is probably no surprise. They were all supposed to begin this way or so Elidibus was told. "And I know not your unmasked countenance, though your voice is... familiar."

He's calmer now, watching the other man with observant interest. Yes. He would concentrate on the mystery to be solved, not the terrible possibilities. Not until he's sure.
