I did, and no problem at all. I made a point of knowing what teas everyone liked when we were back at the academy just in case it'd come in handy and it usually did. Food was a little more difficult to keep track of but I managed that pretty well.

Finally picking up the bread is also a good chance for him to take a large bite that requires him to chew for a while, a convenient opportunity to select his next words carefully to - if he's lucky - get not only an answer but a better sense of Dimitri's feelings about it. ]
