[Richard had decided to visit the taverns of Cadens for similar reasons. What could be better way to get to know the true nature of a foreign city and it’s government than listen to gossip of the citizens. Even back at his home world he would go to places like this with his few selected guards while being undercover, trying to gauge the mood of the people in cities that were outside of his territory.
