"We're pretty basic here," she admits with a slight shrug. "There are wider varieties at the proper taverns downtown, but there's a citrus cider everyone's liking lately. Or if bourbon is more your style, we have that." Easy offers right off the top.

Inej assumes, from the general air about her, the other woman is one of the newest arrivals from the outpost. There is always a certain look about them, a look she remembers wearing herself when she woke up in Solvunn months ago. One that wears a little different on each person– some are angry, some are scared or confused, some are just walls-locked-down guarded all the way around. But no one chooses to be here, and there's an energy around them when they find themselves in an unfamiliar place.

"First drink is on the house for newly Summoned," is that actually a rule? Maybe, hard to say. But Inej has decided it is for tonight, either way. She could eat the cost of whatever the woman might order in tips, anyway.
