Now his expression will turn more annoyed. He frankly doesn't take kindly to threatening implications, and that's not something he goes out of his way to hide.

Still, the tactic...does work. Geralt will admit—flatly—that he was confronted by robbers while minding his own damn business. They drew weapons, so he drew his, and that's that. He doesn't sound regretful, but there's a sense he's hardly satisfied by the outcome, and would've preferred the whole thing never occurred in the first place.

He will not speak a word about the supposed woman seen with him. He isn't lying or pretending she wasn't there; he's simply not acknowledging it, period.
