Jayce is very much a hugger and while sometimes it can come across as a little too.... clingy older brother-y, other times it's just right. Like right now. The urge to linger is present, but she still pulls away anyway. Hugs and affection later. Once they've had a chance to talk and take stock of the situation. And maybe less publicly too. That'd be good. She doesn't have a reputation here yet, but that just means she gets to shape this one in a way she's only gotten to do briefly in the undercity.

"Eight months?" The impact that has is pretty immediate. After all they've been a constant, solid, and reassuring presence in each others lives since she was fairly small. It's a completely alien idea to her. "You're right. I'd seen you not that long ago. Whatever magic is at work here... it's quite strange." Because the Jayce back home had still seemed like Jayce, but if Jayce had been here - how?

"Viktor's here? That's good. I'm glad." Truly, if she couldn't have been here for him, at least Viktor had been. There was no one she trusted Jayce's care to more than his partner after all. "Of course you two have a workshop here. Couldn't have taken you two very long to get one either." After all, it's what they do.

And so, in honor of their long separation, she doesn't fuss about the hand holding. In fact, if she walks just a little closer than normal, her shoulder brushing against him as they walked. Well, that's no one's business but their own.

"So it's just been the two of you then?" She's not about to ask about specific people, not her way, but a little covert digging never hurt. Plus it seems like a nice, safe topic for their walk.
