The general sense of confusion reads on Sam's face — mostly for the circumstances — and he even starts into a wince as one of the assailants goes down to his knees with the jab. ]

It goes down but rolls with it, swinging back at Sam who manages to duck it. ]

[ He shoots Kaz a look and shrugs as everyone scrambles to reset. What he wouldn't do for a gun to put the threat of an end quickly in front of them. He doesn't want to shoot anyone, but he does prefer the comfort of a silver bullet on his hip in situations like this. ]
