"Ouch, but also, true. I should've never become a councilor."

Jayce was so proud and excited in the start, thrilled to think that he might be able to make a huge difference for Piltover, that he would have the kind of authority to enact change. He naively thought he could do it all on his own terms, but he ended up down the same road as everyone else. It's possible if things hadn't been in a very precarious position he could have learned to be good at it, but he has learned to take accountability for his actions. The hard way.

"I think you'd enjoy healing, it feels incredibly good. Hard and a little draining, but good." Jayce came back from Libertas healing barely able to walk home from exhaustion, but he still felt like he accomplished so much thanks to his magic. He saved lives, and that's what it all came down to. Not just Viktor's life, but many lives. He can see how that would benefit Caitlyn, who has such a giving heart.

"I'll show you the Horizon. The first time you go you won't remember it, I think it's sort of like your brain recalibrating as it adjusts to being there, so you should go with me. But after that, you'll be able to create anything you want as your own space and wander around, and meet other people. Most of the Summoned are good people."

Jayce has made many really good and close friends, more than he had back home in truth. He was always so busy with his creations that Caitlyn, Viktor, and Mel were the only people close to his heart, and that was fine by him, but he looks forward to introducing her to the group here. Especially Wanda, who has reminded him of Caitlyn from the start.

He goes grim though at the war part and nods. "They always tried to get us to enlist, but now they're pushier about it, but I'm not surprised. We went to this place called Nocwich, they were opening their doors peacefully to get to know everyone. While meeting with a few Summoned, they were ambushed. Thorne blamed Free Cities for it and attacked us."

It hasn't been so long that it doesn't still hurt him. Jayce has seen more violence recently than in his entire life, back home and then here. "It was terrible. It's a week away by travel, but we could see the fire and ash from here." So Libertas really got wiped off the map. It was a terrible scene. "It's up to you if you want to enlist, but I'm not sure I trust the military here either."
