Nocwich has its own issues, technically they're in some kind of civil conflict at all times too. So I think a lot of people are looking for a fight.

[ Which makes this a fantastic place to allow strangers to come from all factions to meet, right? Jayce would be concerned if it didn't seem like they were on top of it, and he doubts the Nocwich officials would have let that door open if they weren't fully ready for it.

Jayce gestures toward the nearby tavern since he can always come back to the merchants later. He knows Dean fairly well and Sam is such an interesting contrast to his brother. He assumes he can handle himself extremely well, hunting seems to be the family business like blacksmithing is for Jayce, but still. Trouble isn't for everyone. He rarely meets anyone as tall as he is so it's nice to not have to look down. ]

I know this is all pretty crazy in the beginning, Sam. For better or for worse, it gets a lot easier.

[ For worse meaning adjusting to this situation means accepting it and not trying to go back home, and for some reason that feels like giving up, but Jayce has no intention of going back. He just knows for some people it's harder than others. ]
