[ Jayce didn't ask for one himself, he's not really the type, although if it had worked on the gods maybe it would be worth the tattoo. It seemed to be a nice bonding exercise too for the Cadens Summoned, something to bind them, even in a small way. ]

Yes, I worked with a local woman named Lee. I showed her my work and she let me apprentice to her for awhile when I first arrived. She had me do most of the busy work she didn't want to bother with.

[ Which is actually a great deal of work! Lee is a very busy woman, one of the best blacksmiths in the city, and she liked having an apprentice she could count on to do the faster and simpler items. Once she noticed that Jayce's work was impeccable, their partnership grew. Jayce's hard-working (over-working) tendencies and sunny temperament made it pretty easy. ]

Viktor and I started our own business and Lee and I worked out a system. She lets me use her forge and we give her a percentage of everything we sell. We don't do the same exact work so it's not really competition.
