She does not mind their aloof nature, it gives her an advantage as they would certainly dismiss her or underestimate her. Perhaps it would make listening for information easier, but she cannot be too overconfident. There was much she did not know and much she still needs to learn. It will take time, and she's not entirely sure how much time she has.
"You mentioned being stuck in a single place. Is the only convergence between the kingdom and Cadens, Nocwich?" She knew things were...strained between the kingdom and the world based on what she's overheard so far. "Why would they not want to encourage travel between the Summoned?"
Perhaps it had to do with the Singularity. If that were the case she would need to find this Istredd gentleman and ask him questions - hopefully at little to no cost.
