Character Name: Steve Rogers Arcana: The Hierophant Faction: Free Cities
Capture scenario: Steve will be getting grabbed while he is alone, in some dark alleys of the Free Cities. It will happen quite early on because he wouldn't really let himself be caught unawares once news of people vanishing started to spread. I figure five of these masked dudes just use magic to restrain him and knock him out so his super-soldier strength and resilience would help him little.
Ascension plans: Right now I am leaning toward having Steve go through the ascension process, but having him reject it and receive those side effects, because sheer force of will stuff is kind of his thing. It's really hard for me to resist some messed up body horror, okay. That being said, even while suffering these effects he'll be doing his utmost best to keep a clear head and talk others through the situation. I'm happy for him to go through the ritual with another Summoned if anyone's interested in that!
General plans: Steve will do what he can to take a leadership role of sorts, in that he will want to keep people calm and focused and keep panic at a minimum as much as he can. This means making sure that food is rationed appropriately, interfering on fights that break out, etc. etc. He would not be opposed to attacking their captors to either get information out of them or items off of them. While murder would not be his first choice, he actually won't pearl clutch over it either, as they're basically in a prisoners of war situation.
He broke some POWs out of a prison camp before, so! This is interesting, being on the other side of things, but he'll serve as an anchor to anyone who hasn't been through this kind of thing before. He will also gravitate to others trying to figure out escape options and will offer whatever services he can when it comes to resource gathering, searching for potential paths out, etc.
Oh, and if anyone who has ascended starts to get violent or attack others, he will try to subdue them however possible while not hurting them too much. I am so about these Winter Soldier situations.
