Approaching the shrine will cause the charm to hum with a strange magic. The magnetic pull appears to lead him towards the notch at the base of the shrine. Should Nero insert the charm into the notch, the shrine will begin to bleed. Discordant whispers circle the air.

The base of the shrine unlocks to reveal a clouded crystal. Look closely, and they can see that the cloud within is moving and shifting, as if it contains a very dense mist that can be released if the crystal is broken - possibly a similar mist to what the Acolytes use to shroud themselves.

Examining the other shrines indicate that they've also started bleeding.
