Following the blood trail, they discover that it leads in strange circles, as though the victim has been wandering aimlessly. Eventually, they can track him to the forest west of Nott. There, they will find a gravely injured man beneath a tree. Nearby, there's a hypnotic floating light. The irrswisch, or will-o'-the-wisp, are usually only found in lowland wetlands, which Thonre has almost none of.

You can decide how much if any of them fall under the irrswisch's sway. The irrswisch itself appears confused, like it's also lost, and flits around the woods without direction.
