Yes it is, thank you for the visual! Per Lucifer's player: he would probably recognize it as illusion magic but not be able to dispel it right now in his current state. Kyle won't be able to do much either, he will try to see what it looks like from the Gray Space, but since it's powerful magic I figure it will look like a jumble of refracted, impassable space (this is how I usually have him see wards in there). So they will return to the castle after a bit of exploring to ask for more help.
