If they're diving at the wreckage location, they'll indeed find a sunken fishing boat that's beneath the water. It's unclear if this boat belongs to the nephew lost at sea, so they can bring the name of the boat back to the fisherman to ask him if he recognizes it.

Should they do so, he will tell them that this does not belong to his nephew. In fact, there are no signs of that boat at all or any accident that might've occurred at sea, suggesting that both the missing nephew and his boat were taken to parts unknown.

The wreckage can also yield a silver locket with the name "Florian" etched on the back. They can spend a little extra time to find and return it to its owner if they want. While the woman's husband seems to have simply been a victim of an unfortunate storm at sea, she'll be grateful to have the memento back.
