As a portion of the wall falls away, they'll see through the opening an unusual webbing inside that covers a surface from floor to ceiling.
Every so often, it pulses an orange glow. If they observe closely, the orange tendrils will crawl across the floor towards where the large boulder sits. They would not have noticed this orange flicker on the ground before now.
At this point, some of the Acolytes will emerge nearby. They can disperse if they want to avoid being discovered. They may want to wait to break down the rest of the wall until they understand what the webbing is or how to remove it, and can continue to secretly observe what's behind the wall through the hole. They can also cover the hole with a rock or some vines to disguise it.
If they're caught too soon by the Acolytes, the Acolytes will repair any damage to the wall and seal it up again.
