In searching the study, they'll discover a leather bound ledger on her desk. At first glance, the contents don't seem to be anything of note. However, if they compare it to other items on her desk, they'll notice that this is the only ledger to use red ink. All other records kept by Josselyn use black ink.

They can bring the book to any of the Elders or to the Council, who will determine that the ink contains some form of enchantment that hides its true contents. It may need to be observed under specific circumstances or unlocked in some way. Given the warding on Josselyn's door, it's possible this item is connected. They can choose to join others who are investigating the door, give the ledger directly to someone, or hand it over to the Council who will pass it to the necessary group.
