What team or group will you be a part of?: Istredd will be in the holdout group! Horizon healing: Istredd is one of the few that didn't get hit by the ritual and by now he'll be recovered from his temporary madness.
Event discoveries: Istredd was there when two shrines were opened and he has one of the last charms to open the last shrine. This is general knowledge as he informed everyone on the IC Coordination post. He also mentioned the mysterious acolyte's name and her warning about opening all the shrines. He also has told people about the third shrine appearing to be holding back a creature of some kind so they should be careful about releasing it. Istredd is aware of the cracked wall and boulder and has mentioned it to others, however he cannot see it as he was one of the few people who did not get ritualized. He can just tell people it exists. He cured Kell successfully and failed with Steve Rogers, trading his mental sanity for the latter for a day.
Knowledge and skills: Istredd has been keeping in most of his magic, he knows it's there and has managed some sparks or occasional uses, but he did manage to whammy Geralt with it to stop him from trying to kill Steve Rogers. He is an illusion expert so while he cannot see the illusions for what they are, he may have some skill at dispelling something. Especially now that he knows the god's name and may consider finding a sacrifice, we'll see if that ends up being helpful. He may be useful during the escape as being able to focus long enough to either a. use his own illusions to hide the escape possibly or b. temporarily focus on his telekinesis to fight back/protect people as they run. We'll see how that all goes.
General plans: What I said above! He is going to be protecting Ciri at some point so she can escape but he'll do that for others. If you want your character to leave but think they'd try to stay, you can absolutely say that Istredd told them to leave to protect the others and tried to push them in that direction.
