Gideon will be in agreement with helping the acolyte and her brother escape when she overhears it being talked about. She'll be busy holding the webbing open for other people to escape, but will at least loudly make it known that only great big assholes deliberately leave people to rot in a creepy cult. She has very strong personal feelings about this and no qualms about making her position on it known.
