Plot idea: There are several people who are interested in trying to negotiate the release of the Holdout Group with the Acolytes! I know there are a few of us who want to do the actual negotiating, but I think everyone in the Retrieval Group should have a say in how they want to handle it.
This is something they could discuss in Nocwich (IC Coordination I'm happy to set up!) before they embark, just so they have a Plan A, B, etc.
So what do we want to offer them? There is always the final option of "you can let them go or we'll make what's left of your life hell" and, admittedly, Himeka is definitely not above offing enemies who stand in the way. But she would definitely prefer to end things without bloodshed if possible.
That being said, what are your thoughts? Do we want to promise to try to lessen their sentences with whatever they my face back in their respective factions? Do we want to offer something if they rat out Josselyn in turn? Would your character prefer to just knock heads around and cut out the middle-man? Or any other thoughts!
Himeka may appeal it's the right thing to do to let the Lost go especially with everything LITERALLY falling down around them. And that their final actions (if these are their final actions) can be ones to make up for what they've done in the past. Something something MMO Protag BS. But she would also want to make it clear they're leaving with the Lost with or without the Acolyte's cooperation. So it may behoove them to play nice.
