Esmond and Hydnellia would remain where they are. They would stay close to the characters who helped them escape and appear unwilling to go very far, though they will gather items if they're asked to do so. Hydnellia is skilled at foraging.

Esmond will offer her his draught for warmth. The bottle is small, but only a drop or two is required. It will keep the user warm for a few hours at a time.
