Hearing that it's just energy that certain people can feel more strongly than others is almost a relief; she's far more used to things having a tangible explanation than a mystical one.

It makes sense that they'd gather around an actual Jedi. As for Rey, she's always had an affinity for plants and animals, largely because she felt a certain kinship with anything else that was trying to survive on its own in the harsh conditions on Jakku.
She peers back up at Obi-Wan, returning to his earlier inquiry.
"What does my not knowing much about the Force have to do with seeking me out or not?"
