Indeed, Anankin was far too pleased to object or question the affection. It wasn't solely the physical affection - which Anakin had deeply missed in the nearly four and a half years since he'd left Tatooine - but that Obi-Wan had taken his suggestion as well. He didn't know as much of Obi-Wan's history of travel while a Padawan and he didn't know how much, if at all, his Master had had to survive on the streets but Anakin had nearly ten years of lived experience there. That he gave a suggestion borne on it and it was taken thrilled him.
He still harbored feelings that Obi-Wan didn't really want him, had only kept him out of obligation and would rather have joined the other just Knighted Jedi in being on his own rather than having the burden of a Padawan, and one Anakin couldn't help but notice was still shuttled into classes of study with the Younglings and was just now reaching the age to actually be a Padawan. Even if he didn't creep into Obi-Wan's room to sleep on the floor anymore, just in case the man vanished in the night, didn't mean he still wasn't uneasy about being abandoned.
And so his joy at the affection, attention, and being listened to and helping plan something out almost had him vibrating, his heart full to bursting, his blue eyes alight. His attention was heavily on Obi-Wan, Anakin following his gestures to watch, and nodding his head. But he was also scanning the crowd, noticing people noticing them. A few pointed and motioned at them, at Obi-Wan needing a 'break' and the boy he was instructing. One laughed and although Anakin couldn't hear it, his face suggested it was mockingly.
"I see." It's a common mistake, he thinks. A good first-timer mistake.
