That earns a soft snort of disbelief. She knows he's being polite, but it's so ridiculously incongruous given that she's only a few days out from sorting through scraps of metal to find the ones most likely to allow her to eat that day.

"I can't imagine being a lady of anywhere, much less the place with the castle."

It does give her some hope, however, when she mentions that she knew enough about the stars to speak of them. Maybe she kept traveling with Finn and Han Solo. Maybe she traveled far enough from Jakku that who she'd been didn't matter, and maybe she'd landed here knowing how to be the person Master Kenobi had recently told her she had the potential to be.

"I have been told that sometimes people leave and come back, but I suspect I must've done so from a later time. I've barely seen the stars yet."
