He laughs a little, head dipping just so before he lifts the coffee cup shy of a sip and holds it. "Definitely quarrelsome and antisocial," he admits before drowning the amusement that's crept in. Is there a reason a person might not want to shed their dark clouds? Blake can't think of one, and yet he clings to that upset like a familiar blanket. Like he can't find it in himself to feel better just yet.
"You think maybe Oscar gets a bad wrap? He's nice enough to live on Sesame Street," Blake points out after a thoughtful pause. Wasn't he just looking for a little peace and quiet? The occasional kindness offered by the wiggly green muppet, as well as the affinity for kids, is something Blake has always appreciated. Oscar never hurt anyone; he was simply a Grouch and they accepted him anyway.
