It is unfortunately a little bit too late for that. Her social niceties are ingrained in her. Luckily this is usually a good thing for those on the receiving end of her apologies, fully hell bent on making up for a wrong she may have committed. The sound of the Leosylph purring earns an appreciative look from Hilda, and the other one in her lap tumbles like liquid to drape itself across both of their laps.

Everything that comes tumbling out of Wylan's mouth isn't too difficult to follow. The things he says, particularly the one about Jesper seeing multiple people, resonates with her. Which is silly, she thinks, because she isn't in any kind of situation with anyone (in reality it's a comfortable lie that she's been telling herself for the sake of keeping her head on straight).

"Well, I can't help you with being pulled to a different world because I'm obviously in the same boat," she starts, "And boy problems are the worst thing ever, so we can tackle those last. Where we can start is trying to help you stop thinking that you aren't special." Hilda gives him another squeeze and reassuring smile. "Apart from being a Leosylph furnace, what's something you really enjoy doing? Everyone's got a talent!"
