Wylan forces himself not to flinch at the glower. He's stood up to Kaz a few times, but usually, it's when other people are around so there would be witnesses or people to pull him back a step so that Kaz doesn't actually kill him.

"I'm not sure yet. At least not about what it means for Jesper and me." It's the truth, Wylan isn't sure how he feels about Jesper being with other people. Or if they are going to be together or not. He's not going to demand Jesper give up on the other people he loves just for him. He's not worth that.

"Look, I know that I'm new to the group, and I haven't been around that long, but I'm not stupid, and I'm not blind. Jesper has always wanted your attention. Now that he has it..." Wylan took a breath. "Just... try not to hurt him."
