"She is, isn't she?" It's easy to smile at the mention of Hilda and that she's befriended someone new - and, of course, because great matches the high esteem he holds her in. "She's been working quite hard with everything going on but don't let her fool you, mischief's her favorite thing to get into so you can probably convince her to keep taking care of the Leosylphs and maybe smuggle out two or five."

Is this actually one of his own plans? Absolutely. But if Wylan and Hilda get in on it for even more Leosylphs, then he won't say no to that. He's about to keep running with that train of thought to turn it into something else more ridiculous as he's wont to do, but then Wylan asks an important question that changes his train of thought rather quickly.

"Funny you should ask," he says as he stops to let someone carrying their own extremely heavy box by. "Hilda and I have known each other for years, but as for Petra and Sylvain... before arriving, we'd only known each other for a few months. Actually, I suppose we've known each other here for the same amount of time, if not longer."

Which is a strange thought for many reasons; it's one Claude sets aside in order to smile Wylan's direction again when they resume walking. "Abraxas has a strange sense of the times we're pulled from. Few months or not, it's still enough to be close all the same, I've found."
