[High up, latticed between two large branches is… a huge, silken spider web. Is anyone really surprised. Splayed across the gossamer, reflecting in the sunlight, is a large brown spider, casting a bold silhouette.]

I want to put her in here. [He wiggles the glass portion of the jar with his other hand.] The family I’m staying with keeps telling me it’s been too long since I’ve been to a shrine. And everyone is in a tizzy over Lyfbringr this season, bringing their animals to his effigies to receive a blessing. So I’m going to do just that.

[And of course he’s going to be cheeky about it and not bring a newborn goat or something equally heinous.]
