Something about this strikes him as off, though. The Templars he'd killed had been self-righteous in their final moments, proud to declare their alliance. They hadn't denied their identities. They hadn't had any knowledge of a hidden blade other than its obvious function. And they certainly hadn't claimed to be Assassins.]

[Altaïr releases the man very suddenly, but doesn't retract his blade and doesn't step very far back. He'll kill him in a second if he has two, but for now...

The look he gives the newcomer would seem to be nothing more than an intent, piercing look gaze to anyone who doesn't know better. There's no sign from the outside that it could be anything else. But one with a very specialized kind of knowledge might suspect exactly what is happening: Altaïr sizing him up with his second sight, eagle vision.]
