[Diana doesn't spend as much time around the barracks as she did when she first arrived. After the attack on Libertas, the Cadens military became more insistent that Summoned considering enlisting, and it had left a sour taste in Diana's mouth. Her loyalty stood firmly with Themyscira, but no matter how often she reminded them of that fact, they simply didn't seem to care.
So her sparring sessions with the soldiers had become few and far between, creating a distance with those she might have once called friends, much to her disappointment. Now she only visits the training grounds on business, and she makes sure her demeanor with the soldiers is strictly professional. Slowly, they learned to stop asking her to join their army--but she is one of the lucky few.
She's on her way out of the training grounds when she hears some jeers from the training area. Ever curious, she adjusts her route to pass by the rings, and sees a man who is most definitely not a member of the military--at least, perhaps not this one. Others may not notice the way he intentionally loses, but she does. Her eyes are keen, and now she's interested as to why he'd do such a thing when he's clearly skilled.
He calls for another opponent. She considers for half a breath before a smile crooks her lips.
Diana easily hauls herself over the ring's fence, grabbing a training blade as she strides towards where the man waits. She's dressed in well-loved armor, hair braided back away from her face, and despite the pleasant expression on her face, walks with purpose.]
