Markets are kind of a new thing for Catra. The Fright Zone had never had them -- what would people have sold? ration bars? old armor? pfft -- and so she's only learnt of their existence in recent months, after the war ended. This is the first time she's properly been to one, though, and she thinks she might love it.
There's so much new stuff that Catra's never seen before. Weird potions, and the fuzziest socks, and vegetables she doesn't know the name of. She's found out about things like werewolves and vampires, which is pretty cool. They never had anything like that back home. On impulse (even though she's been on the side of the good guys lately), she'd swiped a couple of fried dough buns that promise to have meat inside them. It had been easy, the guy running the stall hadn't even noticed.
Her own shady action is probably what made her stick around and watch the guy get a bottle of wine with nothing but some words, which she'll admit, is pretty impressive. His offer makes Catra's lips twitch into a sharp little smile. "Sure. Sounds like a good way to celebrate. Since we're in the spirit of sharing, you can have one of these bun things I got. Apparently they're really good."
