Gabriel | Supernatural | The Wheel of Fortune

[Solvunn - Goat Racing]

[This is not Gabriel's first time in what appears to be a goat-based economy, but it sure has been awhile. Not that a few hundred years means a lot to an archangel, but when said archangel is very low on power and temporarily functioning on a more or less human scale, the comparatively short time span between rural farm life and modern conveniences is felt a bit more strongly.

Not enough that it really bothers him, though. As far as afterlives go, it could be a whole lot worse. It should be a whole lot worse, if one considers 'nothing' to be worse, which he does. For the record.

So it's with a somewhat positive attitude that Gabriel's begun exploring the primary settlement, and really, not so bad so far. And when he discovers the utterly chaotic scene that is the goat racing, he hesitates exactly nine milliseconds before jumping right into the nonsense himself, and can soon be found speaking urgently but conversationally to his temporary racing partner.]

Hey! Hey, come on you little... You want a bribe? I'll split the winnings, unless it's the ale, 'cause no one wants a drunk goat. Deal?

[Solvunn - Josselyn's Ashes]

[There's no way Gabriel's curiosity could allow him to pass by this morbid display, but there isn't enough detail in it for him to figure out exactly what might've happened. Still, he's seen more than enough of this sort of thing to know it isn't something good.]

Whoa, what happened here?

[Nocwich - Gambling]

[If there's one thing that seems to hold out amongst different worlds and different species, it's that supernatural beings love to gamble just as much as humans do. Gabriel's no exception, and it seems that the vampires of this world aren't either.

So he feels quite at home in the main gambling den, even being more or less depowered for now; sure, he could have cheated with his powers, but what fun is that anyway? So he'd rarely done so before, back home, and that means being unable to do so now isn't exactly throwing him off too badly.]

Full house, boys.

[Another hand won, though he knows he should probably call it soon and get out while he's ahead. Which he'll do if he's feeling smart, and who knows if will be the case when it comes time; for now, another hand is being dealt for anyone who wants to join.]

[Nocwich - Shops]

[Gabriel has absolutely no problem listening to and engaging with any vendor who tries to make a pitch to him, and that's how he can be found holding up and seriously considering a pair of knitted socks. They've clearly been dyed or enchanted, unless a werewolf somewhere out there happens to be sporting naturally pastel blue and yellow spotted fur.]

What do you think? My color?

[He asks a nearby shopper without the slightest hesitation, holding one sock up in each hand to each side of his face, as if that's the way anyone would wear socks and so the best way to tell if they suit him.]
