These initial few moments seem to go better than expected — certainly better than Blake's night had been going earlier — so he nods at the obvious request and gestures for Wrench to go find himself a seat. The general seating area is mostly quiet with a few drunken stragglers pocketed in their own areas, ready to be shuffled out when their coins dry up.

While negotiating with the innkeeper, Blake manages to gather a bottle of mead, a couple of glasses, and a fresh piece of parchment. When he returns, he's also got a key in his pocket, although he knows better than to just throw it out on the table like this is some kind of clandestine meeting.

He notes the bottle and empty cups, pressing it all in Wrench's direction for pouring before he goes about writing in at the top of the sheet ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH THE SPARKLY BRAIN TEXT? Would it even make things easier to use magic as a method of communication? Blake's not sure, but it's certainly the more private option with less chance of information being intercepted.
