The shove lands, Finn being too close and at an awkward angle to block it. While he's heavier than what he looks, Wrench has little trouble putting more distance between them.

But Finn's trained and smart. Instead of letting the move surprise him, he turns with the momentum, aiming a kick to Wrench's shins like he looks to unbalance him right back. Not a graceful move for him, but it's had decent results in the past.
