( Jesper likes filling people in and he has an enormous amount of information gathered between multiple people. He happens to know the oldest group here so they've told him most of the information from the originals, and he has contacts in all the factions who keep him updated. It's always been his role in the gang, the one sweet talking and getting what info they need for their heists.
He laughs when Cid shoves him and already is relaxed around the older man; he can tell his sort of people. His gut is never wrong. He thinks Cid will have an easy time adjusting to Cadens and the other Summoned here. They do have a particular energy to them that you either sink or swim with.)
The inn is, we've got enough paranoid people who know what to look for. From there it's sort of a guess. The only surefire way of keeping things safe is by talking in the Horizon. It's a psychic magical plane that only Summoned can get to. It's in our heads but also real, don't know any of us can explain it properly, outside of experiencing it.
( Jesper likes the Horizon, he visits it regularly, mostly to hang out with people from other factions, but he's not like some of the Summoned who stay a little too much. A fantasy realm is nice and all but you can't live there. They come up to the inn** which is a comfortable and intimate kind of tavern, definitely having that home feel to it. It's not large but it's very lived in and warm.)
Mags, we got a newbie. He's probably not the only one.
( The owner is a short and maternal woman and seems to always be on the move, so she waves at him with a kind smile before heading up the stairs. It's in reaction to what Jesper's saying. If there's new Summoned, it means they'll be trickling in here, and they have to see what rooms are open. Jesper slides behind the bar, a comfortable place for him to be as everyone helps out around here. )
[**ooc: whoops forgot to say go down to the locales at the bottom of the setting page for description of the inn. :D]
