"Someone brought you a cloak just because you thought it was pretty?" she repeats, torn between being baffled and even more suspicious. "And she didn't want anything in return? She's lying, she has to want something. She just didn't tell you what it is right away."
Which, in Catra's opinion, is so much worse. If she's going to owe someone, she'd prefer it if they were upfront about it.
Still, she doesn't want to rain too hard on Adora's parade. She looks so happy right now, happier than Catra's seen her in a long time. So Catra dutifully keeps pace as they head toward wherever this apparently miraculous food is, and finds her lips curling into a little grin. "I feel like we just got done figuring out everything that Bright Moon served. Now we've got a whole new world of food to figure out. I never guessed that many kinds of food even existed."
