[ Marty takes a moment, weighing his options. In most of his adventures with Doc, talking about time travel was strictly forbidden-- you didn't want to risk any changes to the timeline, after all. But considering the guy isn't from here either (at least as far as Marty can tell from both their inexperience in magic), maybe he falls under the same clause that Doc and Marty do.
Which is to say that as long as they keep the secret between themselves, nobody's gonna get hurt.
In the end he doesn't feel intimidated by the man's gaze as much as he feels lonely thinking of always having to keep this secret to himself. They're both out of place and time, though, and that's got to count for something.
