kingforboth: (did you want something)

Somewhere in another universe, Kelson's mother was praying furiously for her son's soul, so knowingly corrupted by magic. Luckily, Kelson didn't give a damn what his mother thought.

"Any particular spells you might recommend?" Was he suggesting this for safety, or to fit in? Safety he thought, wouldn't be much of an issue. As long as he got his own magic back. Time would tell with that. And fitting in? Kelson didn't care about that either. But he was quite curious about what Academic magic was and what it entailed. Especially, if as it seemed, it was something anyone could learn.

Kahlil wasn't the only one with experience in those who couldn't control their powers. The Haldane line was littered with those accidentally unleashing their abilities in a fit of rage, unable to control the massive power gifted. And sadly, the unintented victims bodies. Luckily for him at least, the same dilemma that sent his own mother praying for his soul left Kelson with a bit more control over his own magic. Happy consequences.
