[ It's been said to Claude before that one can tell when thoughts are going at full speed around his mind, and he has a sense what that might be like when looking at Linhardt as the man ponders this and that, and then announces the need to investigate other matters. If it comes to those who have disappeared, Claude has a feeling there won't be any shortage of who to ask. It seems like all the Summoned here know someone who disappeared whether it was a companion from home or not. No one in quite as complicated of a situation as their own, but it still counts for something.

There's the slightest head tilt of what it was that supposedly gave something away, but - if Linhardt's not going to reveal it, Claude's not going to ask. Not without a few more clues tossed out there first to narrow it down, anyway. ]

Modern as in they're even more advanced than what's here in Abraxas. Someone showed me something called a hair dryer where you just plug it into... something... and then it blows out hot air and to quite literally dry your hair. Oh, and when I first arrived someone had something called a truck in the Horizon. Leagues faster than any horse, wyvern, or pegasus, they said.

[ He could go on about this for a while if it wasn't for the mention of timelines that'd called his attention back. Temporarily, since it doesn't stay on that topic for long either. At the mention of being unclothed, Claude raises one eyebrow first and then the other immediately following before segueing that right into an expression of Deep Thought. ]

Is it? Hm. For the record, I'm not displeased you're unclothed. [ A beat, since - is he kidding? Who knows! ] I suppose you have a point about writing being a little difficult here, though I think whether you had clothes on or not you'd still have to contend with trying to write while in water. Seems like a bad idea for any parchment out there, really.

[ Yes, this is his idea of helping. ]
